The Porth Authority of Marina di Carrara has announced a competition for the preliminary design of a project for the rationalization and the environmental and functional revitalization of the port-city interface. The competition will occur in two phases: the first, open to all, and the second with a procedure restricted to 6 competitors selected for the preliminary design of the proposed project. Groen Hoek: the East River Community boathouse competition
An international open ideas competition to design a boathouse for the community of Greenpoint in Brooklin, New York.
The competition registration opens September 1, 2003 and ends December 5, 2003.
The deadline for entries will be 4 PM on January 16, 2004.
Up to four competition winners nwill be chosen with cash prizes ranging from $ 1,000 to $ 5,000.
The competition will culminate in an exhibition at the Center for Architecture in New York City, Spring 2004.
The competition is open to all design students and young professionals including artist, architects, landscape architects, graphic designers and urban planners who have completed their education at the undergraduate or graduate level within the past ten years.
