The new headquarters of Corus Entertainment
on the Toronto waterfront

Corus Entertainment, an important Canadian media group operating in the field of radio and television, boasts a new headquarters located on the Toronto waterfront. The new building, designed by Diamond+Schmitt Architects, will
be home to over 1000 employees on a surface of 480 thousand square meters, spread out over 8 floors. Not just offices, but commercial spaces and a restaurant.
Inside the structure, an ample egg-shaped volume will contain the television studio that will host the audiences invited to participate in the shows.
The new building will be located near a sugar refinery, which means that the buildings adjacent to it become covered with a thin layer of sugar; for this reason the architects chose a
simple cladding that is easy to clean and provides good weather insulation.
