The regeneration project for St Katherine Docks

Situated at the gateway to the City of London - one of the world’s most dynamic financial districts – St Katherine Docks has a soughtafter location, both for businesses and for residents.
Since purchasing the Docks in 2004, the project team at St Katharine’s Investments has been working on plans to transform St Katharine Docks into one of the best city-centre marinas.The regeneration project will be made possible by a proposed £118 million investment to provide high quality offices, shops, restaurants as well as significant public space enhancements. More retail space predominantly at waterside level, including a major conversion of International House. A good mix of retail and leisure outlets will keep the Docks lively and relaxed throughout the working day and at weekends. The architectural heritage of St Katharine Docks will be respectfully preserved, using carefully sourced materials; while architecturally poor buildings will be re-developed and transformed. The result will be a balance between old and new. It is expected that the works will commence at the end of 2006.
