The foremost initiative of WiN is the development and consolidation of the WiN network of cities on a world-wide scale.

The WiN cities: are the cities for which a range of information is provided on waterfront regeneration projects.
They are chosen because they encompass significant waterfront development initiatives and can thus be considered of particular interest for people involved with such problems.
The list of the cities is of course open to expansion: as relevant useful information comes in, further localities from all the continents can be inserted.
